Abstract

The superconductivity in Cu0.5Tl0.5Ba2Ca1Cu2O8−δ (Cu0.5Tl0.5-1212) thin films is studied in the light of the Aslamazov–Larkin (AL) theoryof fluctuation-induced conductivity (FIC). Analysis of FIC has shown thatremoval/addition of oxygen in the charge reservoir layer after post-annealing ofCu0.5Tl0.5-1212 thin films changes the dimensionality of the fluctuations which induce conductivityof mobile carriers. The samples post-annealed in nitrogen have shown higherTc(0) with3D behavior of FIC over a wide temperature range, whereas the samples post-annealed in oxygen havesmaller Tc(0) and possess only 2D fluctuations. These results suggest that the value ofTc(0) also depends on the dimensionality of thermal fluctuations which induce excessconductivity.
