Abstract
Several case studies show the impact of acquisition parameters on the quality of the data in high-resolution seismic reflection experiments aimed at imaging unconsolidated sediments in The Netherlands. Buried sources and hydrophones yield the best quality data. Seismic sections of good quality and high resolution were obtained from which information on the seismostratigraphy and on the lateral changes can be derived. (A)
