Abstract

Accidents on the track represent the most severe type of crisis, the solution of which requires an immediate and adequate reaction of individual competent organs. The solution to these situations depends not only on the carrier but also on the organs and departments of the integrated rescue system. The reaction of these participants must be quick, adequate and coordinated. As a result, it is necessary to ensure that each of these organs knows their place and roles within the entire chain of activities. One of the possibilities to achieve the stated requirement is the implementation of regular exercises in which participants learn the relevant procedures, identify any shortcomings, and practice mutual coordination. The paper presents the proposal of the exercise plan for a model situation of an accident between a railway vehicle and a car at an unprotected railway crossing.
