Abstract

Subacromial bursa was reported as a potential source for mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) as well as bone marrow which is one of the most widely used biological augmentations for bone, cartilage and tendon injuries. The purpose of this study was to compare the potency of MSCs between the cells derived from the subacromial bursa to concentrated bone marrow aspirate (cBMA) taken from patients undergoing rotator cuff (RC) repair.
