Abstract
In this study, the effect of vaccination on the evolution of COVID19 to pneumonia was investigated using a developed SEIR-type compartmental disease model. Equilibrium points were determined for the model, its stability was examined, and the basic reproduction number was calculated. To obtain numerical solutions for the model, two periods of 62 days were used. The data was obtained from the website of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey. The effectiveness of the vaccine was examined by comparing these two periods. Graphs of the numerical solutions were then created, and their compatibility with the real data was examined.
