Abstract
Amaç: Bir devlet üniversitesinin çocuk gelişimi ön lisans programına devam eden öğrencilerin çocuk sevme düzeylerinin demografik değişkenlere göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını belirlemek amaçlanmıştır.Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırmaya çocuk gelişimi programına devam eden bütün öğrenciler katılmıştır (n=131). Veriler, Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Barnett Çocuk Sevme Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır.Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan öğrencilerin Barnett Çocuk Sevme Ölçeğinin toplam puan ortalamasının (70,03±0,633) yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin bölümü seçme isteklerine göre farklılaşma durumuna bakıldığında, Barnett Çocuk Sevme Ölçeğinin toplam puanında öğrencilerin bölümü seçme isteklerine göre anlamlı farklılık elde edilmiştir (U=1088,5, p<0,05).Sonuç: Araştırmanın sonucunda çocuk sevgisi düzeyinin belli faktörleri etkilediği saptanmıştır.
