Abstract

Objectives: Preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is a highly effective HIV prevention strategy and could reduce HIV disparities among African American women. Given low PrEP utilization rates among these women, this study examined PrEP knowledge and attitudes among African American women in Chicago.
