Abstract

The factor structure and psychometric properties of the Identity Style Inventory-5 were evaluated with 579 college students of color. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses suggested a modified four-factor model with 18 items. Configural, metric, and scalar invariance of the modified model was supported across three racial/ethnic minority groups.
