Abstract
The Nigerian society from inception has been faced with the challenge of corruption. Despite several legislative and administrative effort at combating this menace posed by corruption to the Nigerian society, the issues still persist till present. This article examines the challenges militating against the fight against corruption in Nigeria. The paper made a modest attempt to assess the effort of government in fighting corruption in Nigeria. It also assesses the various Anti-Corruption Agencies established to fight corrupt practices in Nigeria and how well these Agencies have performed in the discharge of their duties and challenges militating against the fight on Corruption. The research adopts the doctrinal method, and it is limited to discussing the challenges militating against the fight against corruption in Nigeria.
