Abstract

Athletic training, similar to other health professions, is not practiced in a vacuum. Rather our viewpoints, decisions, and ultimately, actions can be influenced by a multitude of external and internal factors. External factors that can influence athletic trainers include time, resources, organizational culture, and policies.
