Abstract

In this study, the power distribution problem in the indoor wireless local area network has been studied. Optical power distribution produced by multiple light sources in an office or a shop was examined. It has been worked on the effects affecting the power distribution such as patterns of the light source and number of transmitter. As a function of the room size, number of transmitters and transmitter positions were calculated. To be able to do this, a computer program was prepared and the simulation was performed. Simulation approach was used to achieve the uniformity of the power distribution. As a result, it has been understood that the best power distribution is achieved by placing optical sources as the square like grids on the ceiling of the room.
