Abstract

Using the accurate first order perturbation wave functions for the two-body H(1s)–H(1s) and H(1s)–H+ van der Waals interactions, we derive exact leading terms of the nonadditive three-body long-range interactions in the H(1s)–H+–H+ and H(1s)–H(1s)–H+ systems. The nonadditive contribution is given by a product of geometrical factor and interaction constant as is the case of the H(1s)–H(1s)–H(1s) system examined previously, but the present interaction constants are found to be fractional numbers rigorously.
