Abstract
In these conference proceedings, we present an introduction to our work on the exact linear-response and non-equilibrium transport properties through an impurity in a Luttinger liquid. This model is to describe exactly the universal, and experimentally measured, conductance through a point contact in a fractional quantum Hall device.
