Abstract

In this article we construct explicit solutions involving hypergeometric functions to a different version of the nonhomogeneous Euler–Poisson–Darboux equation. We also study the singularities of the solution and give its analytical continuation. The proof of these results relies on the theory of hypergeometric functions.
