Abstract

The exact solution of several boundary-value problems which arise in the theory of the surface impedance of metals at high frequencies is given. The problems are the anomalous skin effect for arbitrary boundary conditions, and Azbel-Kaner cyclotron resonance for diffuse surface scattering. In both cases, spherical Fermi surfaces are assumed.
