Abstract

In the present paper, based on the wave ansatz method, exact bright and dark solitons of a (2+1)-dimensional time variable coefficients nonlinear Schrödinger equation with cubic-quintic nonlinearity term are presented. This model can be used to describe the propagation of optical pulse in inhomogeneous media. These obtained solitons exhibit nonautonomous properties due to the amplitude and velocity of them are time-dependent coefficients. At this time, Tangent and Secant function solutions are also reported.
