Abstract

Exact k-space density response of a perfect Fermion (spinless) fluid in the ground state to external potentials is derived in a closed form to all orders in two dimensions. The results are expressed in terms of geometrical invariants. The most distinct features in two dimensions are that no short wave-vector response depends on kF (the Fermi wave vector), and the usual first-order linear response function R̃(k) is a constant for k≤2kF.
