Abstract

Deuteron D-state effects are studied in the exact finite-range calculations for the 58 Ni(p, d) 57 Ni reaction at E p =52 MeV. The D-state effects on differential cross sections are still rather small at 52 MeV, and the observed angular distributions cannot be reproduced in a consistent manner although the quality of fits are slightly improved.
