Abstract

A two-dimensional euclidean Dirac operator describing the interaction of fermions with a random magnetic field is presented. For a gaussian disorder, the problem becomes equivalent to a one-dimensional classical diffusion in a random medium. This analogy is used to obtain an explicit formula for the averaged density of states which displays an enhancement at low energy as compared to the free theory.
