Abstract

Exact static and dynamic analysis of 0-3 cement-based piezoelectric composites is presented based on the theory of piezoelasticity. Displacement method is used and the solutions of four different kinds of piezoelectric composites under different loading cases are obtained. The effects of volume fraction of piezoelectric powder and piezoelectric parameters on the performance of this kind of devices are simulated and discussed. The solutions are compared with both the numerical and experimental results, and good agreements are found. The results obtained in this article are beneficial to the design of this kind of smart devices.
