Rationale: The aim of this study is to validate the new diagnostic algorithm of sarcopenia EWGSOP-2 (2019) and compare it to the EWGSOP-1 (2010); further to describe prevalence of sarcopenia and sarcopenic obesity (SO) in patients screened for SPRINTT study (The “Sarcopenia and Physical Frailty in Older People: Multicomponent Treatment Strategies”).
