Abstract
From traditional physical bookstores to the digital realm of online bookshops, business owners continuously adapt to meet their customers' evolving demands. Technological progress, occurring at a relentless pace, has instigated a profound transformation in the landscape of e-commerce. Google's creation of Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) has triggered a revolution in mobile development. This research endeavor, employing online bookstores as a case study, presents an architectural framework for PWAs that holds relevance for a wide array of e-commerce applications. The framework emerged through a meticulous review of existing models in the online bookstore domain, pinpointing gaps that serve as strengths in the proposed model. Additionally, the study critically examines the emerging PWA technology to solidify the foundation of the proposed framework. The adoption of this model holds the promise of mitigating contemporary challenges in the mobile development sphere, particularly the issue of code fragmentation. Nevertheless, further exploration of payment gateways and modules is required to fortify the model's comprehensiveness and effectiveness.
