Abstract

With the rapid development of the evolutionary algorithms, it is important to solve the 3-SAT problem more efficiently by using the evolutionary algorithm. In order to overcome the shortcomings of the traditional genetic algorithm such as premature convergence and “no memory”, in this paper, the evolutionary algorithm (CGA) based on the cloud model is proposed by using the idea of the genetic algorithm and the randomness and instability of cloud model. In this paper, the Y-conditional cloud generator of the cloud model replaces the crossover operation of the genetic algorithm. The mutation operation is carried out by 1-bit, 2-bit and 3-bit inversion. The experimental results show that the convergence rate of the proposed algorithm is faster than the standard genetic algorithm and the success rate is significantly higher than the standard genetic algorithm.
