Abstract

Background: Tissue perfusion in patients resuscitated from a cardiac arrest can be impaired by hemodynamic stability driven by ischaemia and reperfusion syndrome. We aimed to study the effect of two different protocols of Targeted Temperature Management (TTM) on hemodynamic stability and tissue perfusion in a porcine model of cardiac arrest.
