Abstract
A bulk superconductivity has been detected for, the oxide La2CuxO4−y after high oxygen pressure treatment. The orthorhombic distortion decreases versus oxygen pressure. For the same initial sample La2CuxO4−y Tc value is pressure independent but dependent on the initial composition.
