Abstract
The article analyzes the implementation of pension reforms, the main stages of the development of the domestic pension system of the Russian Federation in the period 1990-2022 with its achievements and shortcomings, assesses the possibilities of implementing the Strategy of long-term development of the pension system of the Russian Federation until 2030, including in terms of ensuring balance and long-term financial stability of the pension system, the balance of pension rights formed with sources their financial support, the achievement of the replacement rate with an old-age labor pension of up to 40 percent or more of lost earnings with a standard insurance record and average salary, etc.
