Abstract
Stationary and decaying Beltrami-flow-like solutions from the possible variants of free Maxwell equations in vacuum are derived. The stationary electromagnetic field thus obtained is helical and/or ball-like once it is represented in a suitable frame of reference. The obtained solutions could be useful for the illustration of the formation of a ball lightning and their possible evolutional features are also demonstrated.
