Abstract
The evolution of Stokes parameters of an electromagnetic field generated by a quasi-homogeneous electromagnetic source in the far field is studied. It is shown that under Fraunhofer approximation, the Stokes parameters of a propagation plane is related to the Stokes parameter of the source by a 4D-Fourier Transform. Some simulation results are presented for propagation in electromagnetic multi-Gaussian Schell model beams.
