Abstract

Rhinoplasty is one of the most common aesthetic and functional surgeries. To overcome negative outcomes, surgeons have been seeking for years to develop the safest and most predictable rhinoplasty techniques with the best possible results. Despite modern advances in surgery that have significantly improved outcomes, every case of preserving rhinoplasty must be considered challenging because of the possible negative outcomes of this surgery. This paper presents a literature review of the development of techniques for preserving rhinoplasty and suture fixation of the nasal pyramid to prevent deviation or recurrence of a hump.
