Abstract
ABSTRACT This study examines the origins, primary topics, scientific development, and future possibilities of hospitality services in healthcare research. We used the R programming language and software VOSviewer and Biblioshiny to conduct our bibliometric study. Using a Boolean approach, scientific publications from Scopus are collected up to August 17, 2023. This study examines hospitality research in the healthcare literature from many perspectives, such as citations, journals, keywords, and nationalities, to clarify the characteristics of scientific publications. Next, bibliographic coupling, co-citation, and co-occurrence analysis are conducted. Co-citation analysis revealed that hospitality in hospital scholarship centers on integrating a service quality approach into the hospital servicescape. An investigation of bibliographic coupling in recent articles reveals five noteworthy research trends and provides numerous recommendations for future research.
