Abstract

The article presents a review of the evolution of the legal and institutional framework in the field of environmental protection in Romania in the context of its harmonization with that of the European Union member countries, before but also during the negotiation process of Chapter 22 Environment. At the same time, some of the significant environmental policies and strategies for setting the main objectives and priority directions of action are presented in an unitary manner.
