Abstract

A library research methods course developed in the early 1980s by a zoology professor at Weber State University has evolved over time due to the involvement of librarians, changes in approaches to teaching and learning, and the use of computers and networked information. A look at the changes in this course provides a picture of changes in library instruction more generally over the past 2 decades.
