Abstract

William Latham's art is still and eerie. Some of his sculptural forms look like strange, attractive plants just about to bloom. Or they look like docile, eyeless slugs making their way slowly through black space. Other shapes seem dark and ominous, as if floating silently in 3D space, just waiting for the chance to turn around and show their fangs.
