Abstract

The influence of different types of additives (calcium chloride, calcium glucoheptonate and polynaphtalene sulfonate) on the evolution of the chemical composition of the liquid phase of two oil-well cement pastes was studied. Some relationships between the hydration kinetic of cements and the chemistry of their liquid phase, translated in terms of saturation factors with respect to gypsum and portlandite were investigated.
