Abstract

Purpose – The aim of this study is to develop the Agile Leadership Questionnaire. Design/methodology/approach – For this purpose, data were obtained from three samples in different regions of Turkey. After the linguists had provided validity of the expressions in the question-pool, a pilot study was carried to test validity. Then, reliability analysis and the factor structure of the scale were tested. Finally, Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor Analyses were conducted to determine the reliability and validity of the factor structure of the scale by SPSS and AMOS programs. Findings – The results indicated that the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin test is 0,952, the total variance explained is 69,481%, Cronbach Alfa is 0,942, the goodness of fit values are acceptable and the Agile Leadership Questionnaire consists of 32 items and 6 factors (Result Oriented-Team Work Oriented-Competency-Flexible-Speed-Change Oriented). Discussion – According to the results, it can be stated that Agile Leadership Questionnaire is a reliable and valid measurement tool with acceptable values that can be used for institutions and organizations operating in different sectors to measure agile leader’ behaviours.
