Abstract

Recent data of weak charged-current one-pion production obtained in the BNL deuterium bubble chamber are compared with a model which includes resonant and nonresonant contributions coming from the $\ensuremath{\pi}N$ invariant-mass region extended up to 1.6-1.7 GeV/${\mathit{c}}^{2}$. Rather clear evidence of the $I=\frac{1}{2}$ first resonances is seen to emerge.
