Abstract
Uppermost Devonian and Lower Carboniferous miospore Zones previously defined in western Europe areidentified in a borehole in the Amazonas Basin in Brazil. They range with some discontinuity from the uppermost Famennian to the lowermost Visean. Except for a few species which are listed, most of the taxa are common to Euramerica and Gondwana.
