Abstract
Dependence of light-induced drift (LID) on the laser wavelength has been studied for lithium vapor. Fluorescence intensity variation for 7 Li atoms clearly indicated unique nonlinear dependence on the laser power at the different wavelengths of the laser beam, indicating the LID effect of 7 Li. We also estimated the drift velocity values from the fluorescence intensity variation presently measured and fair agreement with drift velocity was found.
