Abstract
AbstractDeviations from non‐random mating have been observed with respect to the two colour pattern morphs in the grasshopper Phaulacridium vittatum. In each of six samples, involving a total of 381 matings, an excess of heterogamic matings was observed. There was no evidence of differential mating propensity between the two morphs.
