Abstract
Gleichartig ist der Wirkmechanismus der semisynthetischen Analoga von Artemisinin und von synthetischen Endoperoxiden (siehe Beispiel), wie Isobolanalysen fluoreszenzmarkierter Antimalaria-Endoperoxide mit für Nicht-Hämeisen selektiven Chelatoren und Laserkonfokalmikroskopie-Studien an lebenden Malariaparasiten ergaben. Er umfasst eine durch chelatisierbares Eisen vermittelte Bioaktivierung (siehe Bilder) und die irreversible Alkylierung von Parasit-Zielmolekülen.
