Abstract
It is important for employees to have a fair idea about the process and principles of evaluation of evidences during departmental proceedings. This paper attempts to provide the same to afford the employees practice the safeguards. Although not a substitute to professional legal advice, the deliberations in this paper are aimed at inducing public servants to think and comprehend that their actions need not only be transparent and fair but it is also important that all actions they perform invariably appear to be so. It is important to ensure that during scrutiny of their action, no prudent person may infer that the probability of the same being unjust or unfair is high.
