Abstract

Introduction - Significative atherosclerotic lesions of the supraortic trunk are uncommon under 60 years of age. Carotid endarterectomy (CEA) stays the treatment of choice for significative carotid stenosis. We still have little evidence of eversion CEA long term results in young patients (<55years). The goal of this study was to review a series of eversion CEA on younger patients and to determine long-term results and the occurrence of vascular complications.
