Abstract

For the prevention of global warming, various low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants are proposed as the alternative of R410A for air conditioning system. In this study, we evaluated the relationship between the R32 refrigerants and PVE lubricants. The evaluation items were physical properties (miscibility, solubility, mixture viscosity and electric property) and thermal stability and lubricity. As a result, it was found that Type-B was suitable for the R32 refrigerants. In addition, Type-C was also developed to improve the friction coefficient for R32.
