Abstract

The interrelationship among human, olfactory landscape, and spatial environment has become the focus of olfactory landscape research, and the study of the olfactory landscape for urban parks is beneficial in providing design methods for urban park environment construction. Taking Hangzhou Grand Canal Asian Games Park as an example, this paper constructs the olfactory landscape evaluation model of Grand Canal Asian Games Park by spatial syntax and analytic hierarchy process, builds the evaluation model from plant elements, animal elements, natural abiotic elements, and artificial elements, determines the index weights and derives the judgment matrix, so as to obtain the evaluation results of the olfactory landscape of Grand Canal Asian Games Park, and analyzes the model for the construction of the olfactory landscape environment of the city park and make design suggestions.
