Abstract
This paper presents the results obtained at simulation of various dynamic route guidance algorithms. The following conceptual approaches are used as tools for the solution of these problems: traffic monitoring; level of service (LOS) determination and estimation of congestion conditions; traffic simulation on urban network and estimation of traffic scenarios, the forecast of the system efficiency. Simulation experiments have been carried out for the part of the Rostov-on-Don network of with using the software AIMSUN. For the procedure assignment the following features were considered: the alternative routes determination, computation of the average number of re-routing vehicles, the re-routing period and congestion threshold. As application it is a part of transport planning and traffic simulation to prepare Rostov-on-Don transport infrastructure for FIFA World Cup 2018.
