Abstract

Introduction: The aim of this study is to perform Finite Element Stress Analysis (FEA) to determine the stress that stainless-steel and zirconium materials apply to the primary teeth while under occlusal and lateral forces, in order to predict possible situations that may occur in restorative materials and dental tissues as a result of their clinical use. Objective: The study groups were as follows: stainless-steel crown cemented by glass ionomer cementand dual cure resin cement; zirconium paediatric crown cemented by glass ionomer cement and dual cure resin cement. The control group was the tooth model without decay.
