The accuracy of antimicrobial susceptibility testing of Vitek2 and BD Phoenix against Acinetobacter baumannii and Pseudomonas aeruginosa was evaluated. Both systems showed overall categoric agreement of ≤90% for cefepime and ceftazidime against A. baumannii and imipenem and cefepime (and ceftazidime with Vitek2) against P. aeruginosa because of high minor error rates.
