Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to grasp the awareness for the traffic regulation put in force after the Earthquake and to evaluate a traffic regulation from the point of view of dissatisfaction of residents in the damaged area. Firstly, we estimate the behavioral model when they commute and go shopping. Secondly, we estimate the factor model about the awareness of the traffic regulation. Finally, we simulate their behavior and awareness of a traffic regulation using these models. These results lead to the conclusion that an introduction of area-wide traffic regulation and the maintain of railway service are to effective to prevent the dissatisfaction of a traffic regulation from rising.
