Abstract
The R-peak detection is crucial in any ECG signal analysis. Several techniques are based on time-frequency and wavelet analysis for ECG features extraction and R-peak detection. We present in this paper an evaluation of performances of these techniques (CWT, Short Time Fourier Transform, Wigner Ville transform, Choi Williams transform) and an algorithm for R-peak detection based on CWT coefficients at one selected scale.
