Abstract
Radiative neutron capture is studied in the 70Zn(n,γ)71m,gZn reaction in order to determine the thermal neutron capture cross sections for the reactions. The resonance integrals are calculated to facilitate corrections for the epithermal neutron component. Thermal cross sections for thermal neutrons and resonance integrals for epithermal neutrons (from cadmium cut-off energy 0.5 eV to 0.1 MeV with filter and without filter) are evaluated.
